The purpose of Cub Scout Pack 2 web site is to:
1. enhance communications amongst scouts, scout families, and other scout troops,
2. record a history of troop activities,
3. provide easy access to scouting information,
We expect the principal users of this web site to be the scouts, scouters, and families of Cub Scout Pack 2. We hope other troops also benefit from using our site as we hope to learn from visits to their sites - sort of an electronic camporee.
Contributors to the Web site:
Documents are published to the web site by Scouts in the troop, troop leaders, and troop committee members. These include:
Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters
Newsletter editor
Recruiting chairperson
Troop committee secretary
Webmaster
Safety and Security
The Cub Scout Pack 2 committee has decided that NO Scout names will appear on the web site. This is a security and safety issue given that the web site is open to anyone on the Internet. Newsletters and other documents are edited prior to web publishing to adhere to this policy. No home addresses, phone numbers, or e-mail addresses for any of the boys will be published on the web site.
